Are you an earthquake/seismic hazard expert looking to work at a top performing syndicate and lead all earthquake research projects?

I am looking to speak to Catastrophe Researchers or catastrophe modelling professionals to join a growing Research and Development function in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work specialise in seismic risk and become a visible research in the London Insurance Market.

In this role the selected candidate will develop this syndicates view of risk, complete research projects to assist with the syndicates understanding of seismic risks, produce and present publications for key clients and wider industry, validate catastrophe models, attend and present at industry conferences, and assist with event response loss reporting.

The ideal candidate will have Catastrophe Research experience at a Broker, General Insurer, or Syndicate, a PhD in a relevant subject (Seismology, Civil Engineering, Vulnerability, etc.), strong coding skills, and ability to present to a wide range of audiences. Those with extensive experience in Catastrophe Modelling with a relevant academic background looking to move into a defined research position will also be considered.
