Guy Day


Chief Executive

Guy started his recruitment career in the UK in 1995 before moving to Asia for an extended period from 1997. During this time he was responsible for establishing, growing and managing international specialist recruitment businesses across Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and the UK.

He joined Eames in November 2014, initially as COO with operational responsibility for Asia, where he also opened the Hong Kong office. In July 2016 he was promoted to Chief Executive and relocated back to the UK. Guy also serves as a member of the Board. 

Guy is passionate about the opportunity recruitment provides both from a career point of view as well as the variety of commercial interaction you are exposed to with clients and candidates. He believes it can be underestimated how much of a difference recruitment can make to people's careers and lives, so finds it a very fulfilling industry, even though it is a challenging one which requires a great deal of hard work.

He is motivated by building a company with an outstanding reputation in the market which is respected by clients, candidates and other recruitment professionals who aspire to work for Eames.
