My client, a global leading insurer, is looking for a an accounting operations lead to join their team in Amsterdam and is paying up to €75,000 for the right candidate.

You will be reporting into the finance manager, and will mostly be responsible for leading the financial accounting processes and maintaining the ledger. You will also be responsible for coordinating the workload for the other members of the team.

As the ideal candidate, you will have experience working at or knowledge of how a general insurance company works. You will also have a good understanding of risks and controls, along strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, Local GAAP, etc). Your MS Excel skills and ability to supervise a team will be looked upon favourably.
