Job Description

I am working with one of the largest Life Insurers in Hong Kong to find an Accounting Policy Manager to join their Finance Team. My client are flexible to candidates with a financial services background with a strong knowledge in Accounting Policy processes and understanding. A strong grasp of English is obligatory, while Cantonese and Mandarin are bonuses.

Responsibilities include:

  • Frequent senior stakeholder interaction 
  • Providing technical inputs to legal entities 
  • Preparation and execution of relevant documents to internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing and improving existing reporting practices

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Professional qualifications and a strong academic background
  • Thorough knowledge in IFRS Technical Accounting and financial reporting processes
  • Ability to partner with different Finance teams
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
