Job Description

A global life insurer is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join their Valuation team. 

The role reports to the Head of Department, working closely with the Chief Actuary, Appointed Actuary, Finance, Risk Management and Investment teams.  This position offers incredible visibility in an organisation with opportunities for cross collaboration and short reporting lines, providing increased exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading IFRS 17 implementation
  • Solvency II reporting
  • Preparing quarterly Financial Report
  • Experience analysis
  • SAA analysis and Investment Committee recommendation
  • Ad-hoc research projects  

Suitable candidates will be making good progress with the actuarial qualification, with at least 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably with exposure to valuation. Proficiency in Prophet and Microsoft Excel is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communicative skills and be able to work independently and under pressure.
