Job Description

An ALM Analyst role has arisen with a Multi-national bank based in London. This bank are a sought after employer due to their strong reputation as a leading institution in the markets they operate in.

Key duties are as follows;

  • Daily monitoring of the business change, monitoring and reporting of the liquidity forecast.
  • Provide suggestions on actions to increase/decrease liquidity headroom.
  • Back-testing of liquidity forecast.
  • Support efficient liquidity controls within treasury.
  • Prepare liquidity related reports.
  • Implement liquidity system development.
  • Monitor and maintain FTP quotation.
  • Provide advice on FTP curves for products adjustment.
  • Support FTP efficiency within front desk.
  • Perform asset and liability portfolio review.
  • Preparation of ALCO management reports.
  • Support collating of business statistics figures for internal management reports and regulatory reporting purpose.
  • Assist in system development to enhance the function and ability of data analysis.

The ideal candidate will match the following description

  • Educated to degree level
  • Bilingual - English and Chinese (Mandarin)
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in banking industry
  • Strong understanding of banking product and ideally prior experience of liquidity reporting or the management of liquidity
  • BAU experience of EBA/PRA Liquidity or Regulatory reporting regimes preferred
  • Attention to detail and numeracy with a methodical approach to problem solving
