My client, a leading financial institution, needs an Application Security Architect to join its Global Security function urgently to back-fill a critical leaver until the end of 2020
The Application Security Architect will:
Actively lead the creation and updating of standards and reference architectures, with a particular focus on regulatory requirements, with an expectation their designs will have to withstand intense scrutiny from regulators and external / internal audits.
The successful Application Security Architect will:
- Have 10 years' experience providing enterprise / security architecture support / leadership within publicly traded companies = financial or technology-based. Or minimum 7 years as a consultant to these areas.
- Have deep exposure to the financial industry, focused on clearing or trading.
- Advanced knowledge of application security assessments.
- Demonstrable experience performing reviews of application architectures for security vulnerabilities and threat modelling
- Extensive experience with the Build Security in Maturity Model (BSIMM) methodology
- High degree of understanding with Cryptographic Services
- Exposure to Cloud providers: AWS, Azure & GCP
Preferred: one or more certifications, including: GSEC, CISSP, CISA, GIAC, GPEN, PMP, MCSE, GCIA, GCIH, CSSLP
