Job Description

A client of mine are looking for an Application Support Manager to join a growing team in a technically hands on, yet strategic and highly autonomous team management position.
You will need to come either from a software development or technical Application Support Analyst background, with a view to become a leader in your field, but still remain close to the technology.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need the following experience:

  • Strong knowledge of IT as a service, the ability to immerse yourself in the IT Service improvement aspects of the role including the areas of incident, Problem and change (ITIL certification preferred.
  • Any knowledge of supporting the following technologies would be a must (at least one of the following); Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, BizTalk or Sitecore.
  • Any financial services, foreign exchange or Payments Company's experience would be highly preferable.
  • Still need to be considered technically hands on, but moving more into the team leadership/strategic management element of your career.
