Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain an Enterprise Risk Management framework for Hong Kong Branch with accordance to GL21 requirement, Group Risk Management Policy and Guidelines
- Work closely with Risk Owners and their functions to identify and assess risk profile of the Branch, including equally quantitative and qualitative risks
- Work closely with Risk Owners to develop risk mitigation plans and ensure they are carried out through monitoring
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports including regulatory ORSA report for the Branch
- Prepare analysis to support CRO on product approval and launch of business initiatives
- Support the CRO in developing a sound risk culture within the organization and delivering risk training
Key Requirements
- Bachelor degree in actuarial, accountancy, finance related quantitative disciplines.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in insurance industry (i.e. Risk, Actuarial, Finance, Operations, Audit etc.)
- Adequate knowledge of insurance products, underwriting and other practices with an understanding of the drivers of the balance sheet, P&L and economic capital. Experience in A&H and P&C business is an advantage
- Experience in risk management roles is a plus. Understanding of Solvency II or economic capital models is an advantage.
- Independent, Responsible calibre with working experience in multinational corporations
- Excellent communication skills and ability of presentation, Good analytical skills and ability to draw risk comments in a business context
