Eames are currently working in partnership with a Global Insurer, they are looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join the team and work as part of their Renewals connect team providing excellent underwriting service for brokers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a good level of underwriting, demonstrated through knowledge of authority levels and company guidelines.
  • Ensure incoming calls are answered quickly and dealt with efficiently.
  • Manage renewal cases with the broker to secure renewal and upsell/Cross sell additional covers.
  • Work well within the team and assist team members/wider business with ad hoc project.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with the technical teams and maintain these relationships.
  • Follow up renewals with brokers in doing so retaining and securing business.
