Great opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to join this established local compliance team. Reporting directly to the head of compliance this role will have coverage across corporate compliance, while working closely with the business. 

Job duties:

  • Advise senior management, internal business units and sales force on new/updated regulations, internal policies and industry standards
  • Conduct gap analysis on new/updated regulations and implement systems and controls to mitigate risk of regulatory breach
  • Monitor the effectiveness of systems, controls, policies and procedures through the Business Compliance Framework
  • Participate in initiatives and projects and provide sound advice to align business needs with compliance requirements
  • Review marketing materials to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Deliver compliance training to staff, sales force and third parties
  • Prepare compliance management reports

Requirements:

  • University graduate, preferably in a Finance, Banking or Business Administration discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of compliance experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Sound knowledge of market conduct and AML regulations in HK
  • Good business sense, meticulous and dedicated to assigned duties
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
