My client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their well-regarded analytics team based in Singapore. The team consists of actuaries, cat modelers, engineers, financial analysts and GIS experts.
The role will focus on delivering analyses of clients’ exposure to catastrophic loss using available tools to assist in the structuring, optimizing and pricing of reinsurance. In addition the role will focus on helping advance their catastrophe risk offering outside of standard renewal modelling.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in (re)insurance working in an analytical role focusing on CAT modelling and/or management, ideally with some exposure to R&D
- Good understanding of AIR, RMS and CoreLogic Ability to lead/mentor junior colleagues
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to interact with senior stakeholders, brokers and clients throughout the Asia-Pacific region
