Eames is currently working with a reputable global insurer on the appointment of a Azure Infrastructure engineer
Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate tools to analyse, identify and resolve technical problems.
- Risk management - highlighting risks and ensuring that they are documented with potential options for resolution / mitigations
- Participate in project deliverables / outcomes as and when assigned to do so
- Responsible for managing Incidents, Change, Requests and configuration activities
- Responsible for Azure Operational run activities, including Monitoring, Backup/Recovery, Provisioning, Capacity management
- Secure and maintain Private and Public Cloud based applications within Windows Server, Active Directory and other technologies
- Maintain security, integrity and business resilience controls and documents
- Investigate and resolve problems as required, specifically in relation to server management
- Producing good quality and timely documentation for all assigned tasks
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of administering Microsoft Azure
- Proven track record in and technical knowledge of entire IT Infrastructure, both Private Cloud and Public Cloud, including Networks, Hyper-V, VMware, security and compute environments
- Demonstrable experience of operating private and public cloud environments
- PowerShell
