AZURE ARCHITECT - POWER PLATFORM

Location: York/Hybrid

Salary: Up to £85k

About Us:

We're in search of a highly motivated and talented individual to take on the role of a Solution Architect, with a specialisation in the Power Platform. As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you will assume a pivotal role in leading the design and implementation of functional solutions for our insurance company. This is a unique chance to shape the architecture and integration of Power Platform solutions while also exploring other strategic platforms and steering our architectural strategy and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Power Platform solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements in terms of cost, performance, security, and resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Delivery Leads to offer expert guidance on the non-functional aspects of our insurance products.
  • Effectively communicate intricate ideas and concepts to technical teams, technology leadership, and senior business stakeholders.
  • Develop architectural strategies to fully harness the potential of the Power Platform.
  • Document, propose, and discuss solution options, encompassing high-level and low-level designs, as well as functional and non-functional aspects.
  • Produce designs and documents that harmonise with our strategic goals and technical guidelines.
  • Facilitate design decisions across various domains, including development, configuration, integration, security, and more.
  • Take ownership of the Microsoft 365 technology stack to deliver tailored solutions for our insurance services.
  • Understand business requirements, scope changes, and their impact on delivery teams and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating scalable, resilient, and secure applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in overseeing a small team of developers and consultants.
  • A track record of crafting large-scale, business-centric solutions to address critical insurance challenges.
  • Prior experience in defining architectural direction and harnessing innovation for the benefit of our insurance operations.
