My client, a global insurance conglomorate, is seeking a Backup Administrator with working knowledge of NetBackup to join their UK offices on a long-term contractual basis.

Successful candidates will be excellent Backup Administrators & have strong working knowledge of Veritas NetBackup.

Key challenges would include:

  • Advanced knowledge, experience and skill with enterprise backup technologies
  • Understanding varied and diverse platforms and technologies
  • Hands on experience working in a fast pace technical production environment
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate issue impact and severity
  • Understand and follow established processes and procedures
  • Holistic understanding of process and service delivery principles
