A regional consumer bank which has incorporated Big Data Analytics in its decision making is looking for a Big Data Analytics Strategy Lead to deliver key business wins. The role will be part of the Big Data Analytics function and will work closely with Business and Product Managers along with Technology stakeholders to develop and drive the region’s Big Data Analytics strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in advanced analytics such as Machine Learning and knowledge of Big Data platforms. You must have experience working with stakeholders to develop strategies to commercialise Analytics, preferably in a Consumer industry. Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and lead the delivery of Big Data and Next Generation Analytics strategy
  • Develop business cases, implementation plans, secure approvals, plan rollout and track results
  • Work closely with the Centre of Excellence to develop and implement next generation algorithms to meet business requirements
  • Proactively source for new data and identify new use cases to improve customer experience and product offering

Skills/Experience:

  • Postgraduate qualifications with at least 10 years experience in Big Data Analytics in a Consumer focused industry
  • Demonstrated strategic ability to link analytical techniques and framework to business objectives and customer experience
