Eames are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading insurance broker who are looking to hire a Broker Technician to join their team.

The role is based in Ipswich, with the opportunity to work according to a hybrid model, or fully remote if Ipswich is too far. The client is looking for experienced account handlers, broker technician, broker support or account brokers with experience in premium processing, xchanging, slip preparation, wordings, account handling or endorsements.

London market exposure is essential for this role.

This role would be perfect for candidates with relevant backgrounds, looking for a step up and a chance to work towards progression in broking, operations or management. The role will also offer you a chance to specialise across other lines of business including energy, sports & entertainment, marine, property, casualty and p&c.

Please note that right to work in the UK is essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibilities include organising recordings, processing and payment of premiums, maintaining records as well as ensuring market documentation is closed on timely manner.
  • The role further includes reviewing and monitoring, resolving technical questions from clients, credit control and the claims and business unit, ensuring the clients best interest are maintained.

Skills/Knowledge required:

  • The ideal candidate will have existing experience as an account handler, broker technician, broker support or the like.
  • The ideal candidate would ideally be experienced in premium processing, xchanging, slip preparation, wordings, account handling or endorsements.
