A global life re-insurer is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join their Business Development team.
The role is newly created to provide business development support to the Director, Product Development and the China team. As the Business Development Actuarial Manager, you will be based in Singapore and is required to work closely with the Asia Pricing and Underwriting team to meet the dynamic needs from the fast growing China business development.
Key reponsibilities:
- Liaise with the relevant internal teams across the business to ensure timely delivery of quotations to the clients
- Support the China team to develop new products for clients
- Prospect clients in the China market to understand their reinsurance needs
- Researching on new product launches, regulatory changes and initiatives by competitors
Suitable candidates will be making good progress with the actuarial qualification, with at least 5 years of actuarial experience, preferably with exposure to pricing and product development from the China market. Candidates should possess excellent communicative skills and be able to work independently. Familiarity with Chinese insurance regulatory is essential.
