We are partnering with a global (re)insurer to find a talented business development manager to sit within an existing team that partner both client and other insurers. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in either Consulting, Strategy, Sales, Business Development, Underwriting or another related function in a non-life (re-)insurance, broker or consultancy/tech firm. Candidates will need a track record in sales/account management and will need to be comfortable interacting at all levels including C-suite. It is expected that candidates will have a proven ability to foster and develop a network of clients and partners and have excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

The emphasis will be on finding someone who is data and tech driven, can understand innovation within the insurance/reinsurance markets and help provide solutions to clients. This role covers a broad range of classes of business and will also be advising on a broad suite of data and tech driven solutions that will benefits existing and new clients. The product is delivered on a global scale but this role will focus on delivery to UK & Ireland clients. The clients can be insurers, re-insurers, Lloyd's syndicates or large corporate clients who purchase complex insurance programmes. There is a clear benefit if a candidate understands digital transformation and portfolio optimisation. The role will suit anyone who enjoys interacting with C-suite individuals and understands the changing dynamics of the (re)insurance markets.
