My consulting client is looking for a Business Analyst to work on a Hedge Accounting project. Responsibilities will be;
- Coordinate and drive forward the plans and deliverables on both the business and IT side and holding people to account on delivery
- Hedge fund accounting experience in context of capital markets business
- Business knowledge of product control, capital markets and derivatives
- Supporting the Hedge Fund Accounting end to end process review and operating model
- Translate IT requirements and relay these effectively to the business and vice versa
- Requires Systems experience and an understanding of the finance flow process
- Experience across policy, procedures and controls impacting and impacted by HFA
- Current state documentation and definition of target state including training materials
- Close partnership with IT to review and rationalise primary trading systems including Product Control and Finance engines
- Implementing clear trade tracking and tagging including amends etc throughout the trade lifecycle
