Working as part of a broking team for a reinsurance broker you will be working with account executives in the placement and development of the company’s reinsurance treaties, as well as being involved in the development of new business. This is very much a 360 broking role with an emphasis on client development. The responsibilities will extend to the securing and placement of treaty reinsurance accounts and will include representing the company at client meetings, market meetings, presentations and audits with reinsurers.
As an individual you will be self-motivated with a passion to work hard to prove yourself as a collaborative team player. As this is a client facing role you will need to be proactive with good communication and presentation skills. Applicants will need at least 5 years’ experience within the casualty treaty markets.
