Responsibilities
· Underwrite and grow profitable General Liability business for HK, Macau & Taiwan
· Proactively manage renewal portfolio and identify and develop new business pipelines in the target segments by early engagement with distribution channels and sales.
· Form and implement strategies through clear actions plan
· Work closely with Head Casualty Greater China, Casualty Product APAC, Customer and Distribution, Operations, and other lines of business underwriters to cross-sell
· Underwrite and execute profitable casualty business
· Maintain a high level of technical expertise and leverage it to grow the portfolio
· Ensure all underwriting is in line with underwriting authorities and corporate governance rules
Requirements
· 5+ years of experience in underwriting primary Financial Lines or General Liability business and good understanding of local market place
· Strong underwriting capabilities in General Liability, Construction TPL, Product Liability, Recall are key lines. Knowledge and underwriting acumen of International Business Program is an asset.
· Deep industry understanding and insights into markets trends, legal and competitive landscape
· Proven strategic, analytical & problem solving skills
