Catastrophe Modelling Analyst - Up to £55,000
A large Lloyd's Syndicate focusing on specialty and reinsurance is looking to hire a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst in London.
The role will provide support to underwriters by doing risk pricing and catastrophe analysis. You will also be involved in regulatory reporting, the production of portfolio analytics for modelled risks, outwards RI placement and business planning.
The ideal candidate will have experience in catastrophe modelling, pricing and portfolio management. The role will include interaction with underwriters so strong communication skills are paramount.
Experience of one of the major modelling platforms (RMS/AIR) would be strongly preferred. In addition, any experience in SQL, R and/or Python would also be a plus.
