Catastrophe Modelling Analyst - Up to £60,000 + Bonus

A new and exciting syndicate is looking for a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a senior leader within this exponentially growing syndicate and work with some of the most talented modellers and underwriters in the industry.

This role will work on building out this syndicates Political Violence & Terrorism (PVT) and Aviation War (AW) portfolios and will be involved in the development and implementation of new views of risks for these perils. Due to the small size of this team this role will be very broad and the chance to get involved in multiple aspects of this teams growth and success - no two days will be alike.

The successful candidate will be tasked with building/improving processes, MI reports, regulatory reporting, management of the classes, and reporting PVT exposures. While this role sits on the PVT and AW team there will also be side projects on more traditional Nat Cat lines and the chance to interact with the greater business.

In order to be considered for this role experience on Political Violence & Terrorism and Aviation War lines in not necessary, only the desire to work on these exciting non-natural lines is required. To be selected for this role you must have some experience as a Catastrophe Modeller or Exposure Management Analyst with strong understand of Catastrophe Modelling software (Touchstone preferred) and strong SQL skills. Since this syndicate is striving to be one of the most technical syndicates in the market, candidates with passions for new technologies and strong coding skills are preferred.
