My client, a small insurance company, is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to think outside the box, from an information / cyber risk perspective, and enable the business to continue to grow, while protecting assets and in line with regulations.
Reporting into the COO, the successful CISO will:
- Not approach security as a tick-box exercise, but tailor security frameworks to the business's unique needs as they continue to grow.
- Have an appreciation for the common pit-falls and vulnerabilities smaller organisations go through as they adapt their business to Cloud transformation
- Be able to deliver succinct and bespoke risk assessments in a stand-alone role for a period of 6-18 months, before deliberately building out a small CISO function
Previous experience within insurance is not essential to this role, however, positive career trajectory and a demonstrable track-record delivering high calibre Cyber Risk assessments is.
