Job description:
- Delivery of the programme
- This role works within the client lifecycle design and management delivery team to support delivery of a quality service to our clients and achieve regulatory compliance across the end-to-end client lifecycle, including coverage of AML, KYC, Tax, OTC reform and FM regulations.
- Deliver the future operating model for client lifecycle through the programme, focusing on the Client Due Diligence (CDD) workstream.
- Ensure that CDD functions and processes for effectively managing both new to bank and existing to bank clients are delivered.
- Validate programme builds throughout delivery iterations.
- Ensure issues and risks are raised to the business project manager and business architecture team for triage and management.
- Identify dependencies and adjacencies with other key initiatives and workstreams.
- Provide guidance and direction to workstream business analysts.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Define and deliver target state CDD requirements and processes for new to bank and existing to bank clients.
- Ensure that target CDD requirements and processes:
- Fulfil requirements of both group procedure and local regulations
- Are fit-for-purpose in effectively managing the bank’s financial crime risks across in-scope segments and client types
- Are designed to be operationally efficient and scalable, with minimal redundant activities or interactions
- Support technology teams with CDD subject matter expertise throughout the functional design, build and test phases
- Work cohesively with:
- Programme stream leads to deliver the future operating model.
- Business architecture team for requirements and design guidance.
- Manage workstream delivery, ensuring:
- Workstream resources are appropriately utilized to produce deliverables to agreed scope and timing
- Workstream progresses to schedule, liaising with the programme business project manager to manage delivery to plan and ensure appropriate project management disciplines are being adhered to.
- Business analyst outputs are reviewed for quality and consistency.
- Relevant stakeholders are engaged and represented in defining workstream outputs.
- Identify and escalate key workstream risks, issues and dependencies to the business project manager and business architecture (where required) for ongoing management.
- Oversee the development of requirements and validation of builds through the iteration process in conjunction with assigned business analysts, SMEs and the business architecture team.
- Liaise with change teams managing testing and operational readiness activities.

Qualifications and skills:
- CDD domain expertise gained through operational or change delivery experience.
- Knowledge of existing CDD processes and systems across in-scope client segments (CIB, CB, BB).
- Thorough understanding of CDD services and links to other programme workstreams (CLM, orchestration, information, data & MIS)
- Senior experience as a stream lead or project manager delivering a business change workstream across multiple geographies.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; able to break down complex problems to identify core requirements and define fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Interpersonal skills in networking, influencing and decision taking.
- Strong communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
- Effective at communicating with business and technology stakeholders to gather inputs, socialize proposed solutions and obtain consensus.
- Knowledge of CIB, CB and BB business segments, client types and product offerings.
- Weighing up benefits of short term tactical and long term strategic options to ensure solutions are delivered to the appropriate scale, scope and timing.
