Cloud Migration Project Manager - AWS, Legacy Upgrades
This requirement is part of a multi-year cloud transformation agenda which will need a Project Manager to come in to look at the current end-of-life infrastructure issues and project managing the migration out of their legacy and on-premise hosting environments to AWS cloud specifically
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have the following experience:
- Must have worked on a range of legacy or end of life upgrade projects, specifically any experience with end-of-life operating systems such as Windows 2008 and Linux release 6 upgrade projects would be highly beneficial.
- Must have experience of working with internal teams and managing 3rd party providers to project manage the migration of legacy hosting environments on a "lift and shift" basis into AWS cloud hosting environments.
- Must have extensive understanding of AWS technologies and automation technologies and principles. Anyone who has worked within a Serverless environment, or managing project around making large enterprise businesses more automated and 100% on the cloud would be very nice to have
