Eames Consulting are working in partnership with a Global Insurer who are looking to make a key hire in the form of a Underwriting Manager to join them in heading up their Commercial Existing Business Underwriting Team in Manchester.
- People Management - developing a team of 10-12 direct reports, Underwriters of varied levels of experience.
- Assessing team performance, identifying areas of development & growth.
- Oversight of team KPI's
- Supporting with technical underwriting queries.
- Providing coaching, mentoring and training of the team.
- Upskilling the team within the Commercial Insurance space - predominantly Property, Casualty & Fleet.
- Onboarding new talent.
