A leading city based asset manager is looking for an experienced hire to take on a 12 month fixed term contract with within their compliance monitoring team. The purpose of the role is to support the global team in providing a second line of defence, review of the controls and processes operated by the group and its outsourcers in the first line of defence.
The key objectives include but are not limited to:
- Complete compliance monitoring reviews.
- To ensure that issues identified are recorded, communicated and actively followed-up in SWORD.
- Keep up to date and knowledge in line with regulatory changes, legislation and good practice as well as developments impacting the group.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business, first, second and third line defence.
- Ensure the promotion of the monitoring team throughout the wider business.
- Ensure development across product lines and training needs through internal and external providers.
