Job Description

The role reports to the compliance manager and is responsible for assisting in the below responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will assist in conducting periodic thematic reviews in a timely manner to ensure the business adheres to rules and regulations both regionally and globally
  • Effectively identify issues and ensure that they are recorded, communicated and actively followed up on the enterprise risk management software
  • Deliver, manage and track the relevant monitoring findings and regularly communicate these throughout management
  • Build and develop strong relationships within the business including, first, second and third lines of defence whilst enhancing the compliance culture within the group

Key skills:

  • Experience in compliance monitoring within an asset management firm for a minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent knowledge of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) handbook and a general understanding of governance, risk management and control frameworks
  • Strong product knowledge within asset management environment
  • Pro-active, driven individual that has proven track record of collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance related issues are communicated effectively
