Due to continued growth this global re/insurance is looking for a talented individual to join their growing Compliance team. Joining an established governance function this team's priority is to ensure they meet their regulatory requirements both in the UK, Europe and Bermuda.
Given their rate of growth, world-wide distribution model and the potential changes to regulation, the successful candidate will be expected to work with the team and our internal stakeholders, participating in a number of interesting and challenging undertakings.
Our client is looking for someone with a passion to learn, ability to work with their team and the wider business across a number of key areas.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Compliance function with key framework roles and activities, including Complaints Handling and supporting the Conduct Risk framework, Delegated Underwriting approvals and Financial Crime framework duties
* Ongoing review and updating of compliance policies and procedures
* Carrying out monitoring reviews
* Compliance participation in product oversight and governance
* Developing compliance management information
* Cross-functional work in developing and overseeing assurance process
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
* Proven experience in a Compliance function for a regulated entity
* Ability to work autonomously and make decisions
* Flexible and adaptable approach
* Highly motivated
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
* Comfortable with the latest technology
