Job Description

Eames is currently working with a global insurance carrier on the appointment of a Compliance Manager to join their international team in London. As a Compliance Manager, you will provide expert regulatory advice, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and support our client's business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regulatory advice across various areas based on jurisdictional requirements and company policies.
  • Perform horizon scanning to identify and interpret regulatory changes.
  • Develop and conduct mandatory and tailored compliance training programs.
  • Address referrals and information requests from business stakeholders promptly and accurately.
  • Assist in preparing for regulatory inspections and handling information requests.
  • Draft the annual Compliance Plan and develop departmental procedures.
  • Support the Head of Compliance in implementing the Compliance Plan and managing the Compliance function.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., Lloyd's, FCA, PRA, CBI, BMA).
  • Proven experience in a managing agent or general insurance environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Compliance Advisory role.
  • Experience managing a small team.
