A leading international specialty insurance group based in London are looking for a compliance officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This would provide a good opportunity for a compliance assistant/officer looking to extend their compliance regulatory understanding within a company with a strong compliance culture and progressive senior management team.

The main responsibilities would be:

  • Responsible for Conduct Risk along with distribution framework.
  • Monitoring and escalation of compliance and regulatory developments and returns.
  • Support regulatory risk assessments; along with requesting thematic and internal audits.
  • Financial Crime experience; sanctions.
  • Reviewing company policies and procedures.
  • Partaking in ad hoc compliance work.

The qualifications required for this role would be:

  • Experience within the London insurance market.
  • Managerial skills (Desirable but not essential).
  • Experience within regulatory compliance.
  • Self-starter.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong in due diligence.
