One of the most exciting names in the non-life consulting market is on the lookout for two senior actuaries to join their growing practice. This will focus on a range of projects for various general insurers and will involve leading projects from start to completion and managing more junior actuaries. Projects will predominantly involve reserving, capital modelling, pricing and risk work. One of these roles will be more focused on capital modelling, with the other being more generalist.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with demonstrable experience in general insurance. Candidates with mixed exposure are preferred, however technical specialists in one area are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a front-facing role involving heavy interaction with a wide-range of senior stakeholders, therefore an excellent level of communication is paramount.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to step into a senior role and really make an impact on the business. You will be reporting directly into the actuarial Partner and have the freedom to bring ideas to the table and (ideally) develop your own business. There is also plenty of flexibility around working hours at this level, giving you the freedom to manage your own time. There is also flexibility around gaining experience on particular projects, allowing you to specialise in certain areas, or learn new skills.
