Strategy & Objectives:
- Develop, drive and coordinate a consolidated global strategy
- Actively participate in supporting strategy implementation
- Identify and analyse strategic opportunities and identify gaps and actions required to deliver these strategies
- Develop, drive and coordinate the production of the scorecard in alignment with the scorecard & wider strategy.
- Ensure that clear objectives are set for the domains within, and that individual management team
- Ensure these objectives are reflected in individual team scorecards, in alignment with scorecards
- Oversight of the delivery of objectives and report on the achievement of these on a regular basis via the scorecards.
- Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the group operates.
- Execute & implement a standardised Target Operating Model (TOM) and organization structure, including a location strategy & resource management approach
- Work with Domain Heads & Strategy and Business Operations team to rationalize the seniority and span of the organisation & challenge resource growth
- Ensure all people related KPIs are met (span & layers, increased average grade, workload efficiency, productivity, etc)
Resource Management & Capability Uplift:
- Ensure governance forums & processes are in place to tighten the management of overall headcount to stay within approved caps
- Work with Domain Heads & Strategy and Business Operations team to achieve the upskilling & capability uplift strategy across the function
- Coordinate a consistent approach to the delivery of any Capability Framework changes & enhancements across the function.
- Oversight of the implementation of Standardised titles, Job Descriptions and packages across the function.
- Ensure any Learning & Development (L&D) commitments are rolled out and implemented across the function
- Drive the approach within the function to meet any Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) commitments.
Financial & Vendor Management:
- Ensure the appropriate overarching governance, processes and controls are in place to ensure that the budget is met
- Oversee the implementation of strategy to improve workforce analytics, productivity & reporting
- Review various processes and work with functional heads to enhance processes.
