A specialist real estate investment manager with a Pan-European investment strategy is looking to hire a recently qualified accountant to join the corporate accounting team. The company has been on a growth trajectory over the past decade, and will continue to grow with the introduction of new PE vehicles which will focus on higher yield RE investments. With a strong physical presence in Europe, the firm is now close to 300 headcount across London, Scandinavia, Central and Eastern Europe.
The firm currently manages industrial, retail and office properties, with a value of close to £5bln. The planned growth and investment focus on high yield real estate have resulted in the need for a Financial Accountant to join their corporate team.
Key responsibilities of a corporate accountant:
- Working within a team to produce monthly consolidated management accounts
- Reviewing and analysing management accounts from other group entities
- Performance of monthly and quarterly review controls over financial data in the accounting system
- Working with auditors for the interim audits and year-end audit
- Answering queries from various stakeholders
Key skills of a corporate accountant:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent
- Experience in management/ statutory account preparation
- Team focused mindset
- Experience in using MS Excel at an intermediate level
