A renowned global financial institution is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join their team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be supporting the SOC Incident Manager and will be responsible for the bank’s security incident response systems and the handling of new threats and vulnerabilities
Responsibilities
- Assess risks of new threat and vulnerabilities
- Monitor and investigate alerts triaged from SIEM tools
- Carry out in-depth log file analysis and carry out threat correlation to enhance cyber security
- Match and check IP addresses to prevent access of malicious IP addresses
- Respond to security incidents as per playbook and escalate incidents to the relevant teams for further investigation
- Analyze past data to uncover any possible IoCs and emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity operations
- Exposure to Digital Forensics or Threat Hunting experience would be a plus
- Open shift work in accordance to the follow-the sun-model
- Articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
