Eames is working exclusively with a Lloyd’s and Company Market insurer who are looking for a political risk underwriter to join their growing team based in London
Key responsibilities:
- Exploit opportunities in the market to drive development of the international political risk and trade credit portfolio of business.
- Build new and maintain existing relationships with brokers worldwide.
- Work closely with the head of political risk to devise strategy, engage in product development and marketing the company’s CPRI products.
- Underwriting both new and existing business within your given authority limits by preparing and negotiating quotations.
Requirements:
- Experience underwriting political and trade credit risk within a Lloyd’s or Company Market insurer.
- Excellent communication and confident negotiating skills.
- A strong market reputation with the ability to build solid relationships with both brokers and customers.
