A well-established bank in Singapore is expanding its data analytics team to drive the use of data and insights in its business. This is a role which combines traditional data analytics skills with business impact, and offers the opportunity to interact with business leaders in the organization.
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Analyse data with the focus being on actual business outcomes
- Lead projects in analytics to bring the organization forward on the data-driven journey
- Work with various stakeholders, being a proponent of all things data analytics, to drive the uptake of data tools and products
You should have at least 5 years of data analytics or data science experience, with:
- Proven expertise in Machine Learning/Natural Language Processing and/or practical experience working with Python/SAS/R
- Knowledge of/experience working with big data tech (Hadoop, Spark etc.)
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills, taking a consultative perspective when approaching problems
- Strong communications, presentations and influencing skills
- Comfort working with a team
Past experience in Finance or related industry is a plus, with understanding of business concepts and considerations.
