Title: Data Engineer
Day rate: £600 - £750
Duration: 6 months (initial)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Hybrid
I am in search for a candidate with a strong background in computer programming, can tackle problems with large , complex datasets using the latest SQL, python or spark. An ideal candidate for this role will have strong background in computer programming , can tackle issues with large datasets using SQL, Python or Spark, taking ownership of projects and delivering high quality analytics solutions
- Experience in working with data API's. (working with restful endpoints and/or SOAP)
- Knowledge of any commercial distribution e.g. Cloudera, MarR, DataBricks, Horton Works or any others.
- Excellent working knowledge of relational databases, MySQL, Oracle etc.
- Hands on experience of ETL tools like Informatica and SSIS is preferred
- Good knowledge of Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn etc.
- Ready to learn new technologies and tools
