Data Engineer - Python and Spark
A Data Engineer is required on a contract basis to work for a global bank based in London.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked with statistical programming languages such as python and pyspark, any experience of scala will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of a variety of machine learning techniques and a keen interest in this area. The Data engineer be an expert with Hadoop and Spark. The candidate will have previously experience in the financial services sector and ideally have banking business knowledge.
The client will pay up to £650 (Umbrella) a day dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity to join a leading client and further enhance existing skills.
Essential skills and qualifications:
Previously have worked with Python and Pyspark.
Proven experience with Hadoop and Spark;
Have worked in a financial services environment and have banking business knowledge.
