A leading global asset manager is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Risk Management function to achieve strong assurance and deeper business insight. The department uses machine learning and NLP for better risk identification and analysis. To achieve this, they are looking for a Data Engineer to analyse unstructured data to generate actionable insights. The firm is at the forefront of enterprise level data analytics adoption and you can look forward to working on interesting projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to analyse large unstructured data sets and deliver actionable insights.
- Work on Big Data infrastructure such as Hadoop to store and search large data sets.
- Work with internal community of data scientists on complex problems.
Skills / experience required:
- Excellent academic qualifications in Computer Engineering or Science.
- Strong technical skills sets in data warehousing, ETL and data pipeline.
- Good programming skills in Python, SQL and knowledge of Tableau.
