I am currently seeking a Contract Data Integration Solution Architect to join a largely successful Banking Organisation based in the City of London.
The role itself is fairly niche, focusing on The London Market Target Operating Model (TOM), the data Data Integration initiative aims to ensure that data flows in a way which is controlled, seamless and joined up across the whole London Market, supporting TOM functions, services and the delivery of its benefits. There are a few ways that this can be achieved:
- Enabling efficient transfer of data into and across the market according to the London Market Target Operating Model initiatives integration requirements
- Improving the quality of data exchanged in the market and manage the data use more effectively
- Enabling better standardisation and control over entity and reference data in the market.
In simpler terms, the role of the Integration Solution Architect includes supporting the delivery of the Data Integration Programme through Design and Implementation of a Public API standard on an API Gateway platform to operationalise the new capability to strategic security standards, along with the Design of service payload schemas and XML Schema for exchange of data by market participants.
This role is a fairly hands-on technical role, requiring the ideal candidate to have strong communication skills to enable communication at all business levels.
Due to the nature of the role, experience working within The London Market or in the wider Insurance Industry is desirable, especially with the use of ACORD data standards. Similar acceptable backgrounds include Retail, Banking and Telecom.
