A global conglomerate with business interests in Energy, Utilities and Infrastructure are looking for a Data Scientist to be part of their Digital & Analytics team in Singapore. They have formed an exciting partnership with Technology giant Microsoft to build digital capabilities by combining IoT, Cloud and Data Science. The Data Science team is responsible for translating business problems into solutions using Machine Learning and AI.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build fully functional analytics solutions using ML/AI to meet business requirements
- Transform complex data into easily understandable insights with business context
- Manipulate different data sets to build Machine Learning models
- Automate and build visualisations of model outputs to drive decision making
Skills / Experience:
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computing or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Science with proven record of building ML models
- Knowledge of fundamental market analysis (Demand/Supply) is a plus
- Strong programming knowledge in R/Python/Scala/Spark/Hadoop
- Good experience in deploying on Cloud platforms (preferably MS Azure)
