There is an exciting opportunity with the newly setup Data Science team of one of Asia’s most successful tech start-ups as they push in to Financial Services. The start-up is further developing their Payments and Loans businesses and requires Data Scientists to build the payment platform and credit scoring models for risk management. They are ideally looking at inquisitive candidates from a machine learning background to build a career in financial services analytics. You will work in a highly dynamic team with large amounts of data and be immersed in a culture of experimentation and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data to identify new business opportunities
- Identify best fit ML models for use cases and track success on experimentation platform
- Build credit scoring and fraud detection models using ML techniques
Skills/Experience:
- Strong post-graduate academic qualifications in quantitative or computing field
- Industry experience in building risk/fraud models or anomaly detection models, preferably in a consumer focused company
- Strong fundamental data science knowledge and programming skills in Python and SQL
