Job Description

Tier 1 Global Bank requires mutiple digital product owners

You will be responsible for gathering requirements, creating product roadmaps, ascertain product risk and ensuring that software releases are fully supported through complete development cycle, assuring quality standards are consistently met. Oversee on-going success and continuous improvement of one or more digital products (supporting digital onboarding).

You will (as part of overseeing a team):

  • Act as the digital product owner and subject matter expert, overseeing product development within an Agile environment.
  • Drive the development and release process and continue to implement improvements
  • Gather, validate and prioritise client and business requirements. Establish governance and controls to manage those requirements
  • Work with various areas of business to coordinate product deliverables that must come together to work as an integrated release package
  • Own the development of wireframes, prototypes and other high/low fidelity tools to clearly articulate the digital product vision and design to stakeholders and team members
  • Drive the UX design to bring your digital products to life
  • Define the business and user data metrics that will track success
  • Reflect the legal, cross border and regulatory requirements into digital product design
  • Interpret user research in order to make the correct product decisions, noting that users do not always know what they want
  • Keep continually abreast of changes to user habits, preferences and behaviors and their implications for successful delivery of a Digital Product
  • Underpin the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data
  • Act at the focus for user acceptance and business acceptance of your digital products
  • Disseminate an understanding of the digital marketplace, including best practice, costs, suppliers, methodologies and skills to stakeholders
  • Be actively involved across partner and user communities to promote the department's principles and foster a collaborative approach to solution delivery and engagement.

Must have

  • Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
  • Experience of working with digital requirements gathering and digital journey mapping, working directly with business stakeholders. Able to articulate how these requirements are elaborated and validated
  • Strong understanding of owning, managing and organizing requirements catalogues and processes
