Job Description

Global bank requires a Digital Project Manager to join them at a critical time where they are trying to achieve their goal to enhance the Digital Service offering available to their customers; with a key focus on our primary digital channels; Internet Banking and Mobile.

In this role, you will:


* Be the overall delivery owner for one or more key digital delivery programmes within their Business Banking space
* Lead a team of project managers and product owners to deliver a portfolio of projects within your programme(s)
* Own the multi-disciplinary agile teams to deliver best in class new products, services and/or channels to meet or exceed user needs
* Lead engagement with the other banking teams on prioritisation and the book of work
* Lead engagement with IT on the build and design of solutions
* Research, gather, test and prioritise client requirements. Use this to create, own and maintain the requirement backlog.
* Own the development of wireframes, prototypes and other high/low fidelity tools to clearly articulate the digital product vision and design to stakeholders and team members
* Understand the commercial strategy and business goals for the product definition and use this to drive


To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Digital change is essential
* Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager is essential
* Experience working in Commercial Banking or Business Banking is essential
* Past experience of Agile methodologies and collaborating closely with IT teams is essential
* Experience working in Global teams, within a multi-country /multi programme matrix environment is essential
* Experience working in relevant market/context i.e. Desktop Internet, Mobile and Digital within Financial Services is essential
* A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
* Strong understanding of the digital product development process, ranging from requirements and idea inception through to development and execution
* Experience of managing 3rd party digital agencies and consultancies
* Working with digital requirements gathering and digital journey mapping, working directly with business stakeholders. Able to articulate how these requirements are elaborated and validated
* Owning, managing and organising requirements catalogues and processes
* Able to demonstrate how customer centric thinking is expressed and reinforced through the digital product design processes
* Strong understanding of digital UX and interaction design
* Excellent communication skills and an understanding of how global teams need to work to be effective
