A global consultancy is looking for an environment manager to manage and control access to 30-40 development and test environments as part of a large transformation programme.
This person will have to interact with the programme delivery lead and the testing manager to plan land releases into the respective environments as well as make sure those environments are in the appropriate state when releases arrive and cleared down when they leave.
They would also be responsible for the planning and control of start and end dates for each environment. This person will work with the release manager to plan out utilisation of the environments and communicate that to the various release PMs responsible for their respective project.
The ideal candidate would be someone from a large IT estate where scheduling of activities are paramount.
They would need to come from a financial services background (Banking or Insurance)
Previous experience in managing User Issues and Environment needs
