You will be an Equities advisor focusing on high net worth clients, working with Private Bankers to deliver solutions. As the subject matter expert in the advisory team, you will be involved in an end-to-end advisory role, presenting quality investment proposals, and covering some trade execution from time to time. This role is based in Hong Kong.
This role is ideal for you if you are keen to further your career in the growing Private Wealth space, covering and pitching investment ideas to clients in the North Asia regions. Current equity research specialists can look forward to take on a client facing role as you will be a key equities advisor for the front office team and clients. Given that the role covers North Asia clients, fluency in business Mandarin is required to generate key ideas and advice UHNW clients.
To be a successful candidate, you should be:
- An experienced professional in the equities space, with ideally a minimum of 8 years of relevant experiences (e.g. private bank, research, buy side), ideally experienced in bottom-up research
- Strong equity analysis abilities, passionate in the equities business
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – bilingual in English and Chinese language as the stakeholders and clients may require for presentations to be conducted in these languages
- Team player, hands-on individual
