Rapidly expanding Business Financier is currently searching for a Finance Analyst to add to their existing team.
Coming about as a result of expansion at the firm, coupled with a restructure of the finance team, space has been created for a multi-talented and driven individual to join. The new hire will play a key role within the finance team, specifically reporting to external stakeholders and assisting with the provision of Management Information (MI) across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate new ideas and ways of improving financial reporting for various stakeholders
- Hands-on assistance in the production of month end reports and financials
- Supervising and developing support staff, both UK and India based
- Assist with the financial analysis and management information for both internal and external stakeholders
- Monthly preparation of client portfolio, identifying key clients and their profitability
- Prepare quality analysis of sales, profitability, products etc
- Support the AFD/FD with the annual budget process
- Liaise with auditors, banks and other stakeholders
Requirements:
- Part Qualified or Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- 3+ years of experience within a Finance Team
- Experience in the Financial Services industry (desirable)
- Strong excel skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
Taking charge of monthly reporting to key stakeholders, excellent time management skills are a must in this role. The new hire must also enjoy working with others, as liaising with various department heads on a regular basis to understand funding requirements is a key responsibility. Funding towards studies will be provided to those still working towards their qualification, in addition to base salary of £45,000 + bonus circa 10%.
